The Mount Carmel Area School District provides fresh and new teaching strategies to accommodate all students. Teachers are enthusiastic to use new teaching methods.
Students are eager to use new materials, but the school does not always have a way to keep up with technological advances.
Many students are engaged through the use of technology in ways that the old fashioned pen and paper could never do. Learning has become more interactive and we need to continue giving students what they need to guide their education through the 21st Century and beyond.
My Project
These Chromebooks will allow my students to access a whole new set of instructional tools. As of right now, each time my students come to my class for any kind of remediation and need to use computers I need to search around the school for teachers that are not currently using their computers.
Due to this, my students cannot always get onto sites that are designed to help them learn, grow, and retain new information.
We will also use the computers to work on some skills that could be lacking and support their self-confidence in their own abilities. These Chromebooks will certainly help the students of the Mount Carmel Area School District achieve their very best!
