I have the most brilliant and sweetest kindergartners. They have so much to offer and they come to the classroom with a wide range of knowledge, experiences, and backgrounds. They all speak many different languages, including Somali, Thai, Portuguese, Oromo, Amharic, Tigrinya, and English. With such a wide range of abilities and wealth of knowledge, I see all of them being teachers to one another, and especially to me. They deserve nothing but the best for their educational growth. Furthermore, as the end of the year approaches, I see that they are demonstrating their leadership. I am proud to say I am shaping the minds of the next leaders of our society!
My Project
Kindergartners have a long and productive day in school. They are constantly learning and absorbing everything throughout the day. Since this is their first year in elementary school, their staminas are shorter and they become exhausted and restless more easily. Snacks give extra energy to my kindergartners and they also calm them down especially if they are restless!

These snacks, such as fruit snacks, crackers, and pretzels, will give my students extra energy to help their brains continue growing and learning throughout the day. Having an extra snack in the afternoon besides lunch will make every day that much easier for them.
