My Project

As we adopt a new framework for learning, International Baccalaureate, we are celebrating students every month according to one of the learner profile traits. Students spend the month learning about the characteristic, and then teachers and students are able to nominate a peer for the award.

Winners of the award are celebrated in a variety of ways.

When a student wins the award, they are interviewed about what it means to live out this characteristic in their life. Responses are then recorded and shared with the entire middle school. Additionally, students are given a letter from the principal sent home to their families and given a prize bag.

This project will help me to create highly coveted prize bags with snacks, pencils, pens, and fidgets.
