My students are self-motivated learners. They are excited to learn, and they realize the skills they are learning will benefit them when they leave the halls of Mountain Ridge High School, and they are eager to use those skills directly and indirectly as they pursue their futures.

My students are hands-on learners, who cannot wait to learn new software or use new equipment. They are inquisitive and take the initiative to learn as much as they can about what they are using in and out of the classroom.
My Project
The materials listed in this project will give my students an authentic learning experience that cannot otherwise happen. My students use cameras in my classroom, but they are limited in what they can accomplish without the proper lighting, lenses, backdrops and other support items.
My students deserve the best opportunity to hone their photography skills.
Being exposed to this equipment will help them take their photography skills to the next level. Mastering the skills they will learn with this equipment will help students transition into the photography profession after they graduate from high school. This is a priceless opportunity for them.
