This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I motivate my students to push each other in order to improve our class. They help each other during small group activities and tell one another that they should stay focused and do their work.

I have two groups of students.

2A is my morning homeroom class and 2B is my afternoon class. In total, I have 40 students. They each have different characters that mix very well. I actually taught about half of them when they were in Kindergarten. I was their Kindergarten teach during my first year of teaching (this is my third year).

My Project

My students need four sets of Privacy Partitions to shield themselves during our weekly Friday exams. They will also use them daily during our DOL's, which are mini-quizzes after each lesson. These resources will help them feel safe in regards to their privacy and responses on their tests.

These Privacy Partitions will make a big difference in my classroom because we really do need them.

Currently, I am using two tapped manila folders as study carrels and they are either tearing apart or falling down constantly since they just do not have enough support to hold up.
