Julie and Sierra are leading a group of students in this project that connects community and our school while exposing students to a valuable lifetime experiences. Julie and Sierra are leaders by example, demonstrating leadership , commitment , determination and great technology skill sets. They have the ability to communicate the projects needs to all involved, the community, staff, students and media. Julie and Sierra are very excited to get the necessary tools that will allow better marketing and data management.
Students need these pet supplies to will help offset financial concerns for community, student families and their pets. They also need the canopy/tent to have a place to distribute the items from at events. Students will assist Veterinarians to examine pets and address their needs. The students will take what they learned, such as, Organization, technology, analytical process, communication skills, from events and turnkey to younger students. They will then apply the innovative ideas into reality for our next community events. The skills the students will learn, will help better prepare them for college and careers, while giving back to their community. They will also serve as great mentors/role models to the younger population. This project will impact many lives!
This project will open new opportunities for our chowhound event that will assist our community, student families and their pets. We set up classes to instruct the residents on the best means to address proper pet care. We instruct the method to administer flea preventative and heart worm preventative. This project will develop skills that will prepare us for college and careers, while giving back to our community. We hope to offset financial costs of the family pet and educate families on the best means to care for their pet.
We will organize. facilitate. create, communicate, analyze, collect data, prepare and set-up for events We have become the 'hub' of information and resources for the community and their pets.. We will also serve as mentors and role models to the younger population. These skills will better prepare us for college and careers. All these qualities will also contribute to the building of our cities future.
This project will benefit our community, and school by educating the public on the proper health care for pets. This project will offset financial costs that benefit the family pet. By providing free spay/neutering, this will decrease the number of homeless and abused animals in our city and the number of animals placed in the shelter or euthanized. The students will learn valuable skills for college and careers.
