Student Leaders Share Words of Encouragement and Good Character
Help me give my students a Cricut Explore Air 2 and cutting mats to create posters and signs which will be displayed around the school campus. These signs include encouragement for state testing and reminders that kindness counts.
Our middle school Leadership class consists of students in sixth through eighth grade. Their goal for this year is to build school spirit through various activities and spirit rallies. One idea they have is to make signs of encouragement during state testing and stand in front of the school with their signs as students get off the busses.
These students are truly leaders in our school.
They want to spread the word that kindness matters. They want to share similar messages with the student body throughout the school year. They work on team building activities weekly and promote that in order to be a successful leader, one needs to serve.
My Project
Each week one Leadership student conducts a team-building exercise for the class. They create and lead a lesson that encourages teamwork and communication.
The students want to share these traits and other good character-building words of encouragement with the entire school body by creating banners and posters which can be displayed across the school campus.
The Leadership students feel that the student body will listen to their voice and that they can make a difference. Their goal is to improve the mindset and attitudes of students to form a harmonious environment where students are motivated to learn and are kind to each other.
