Our school is a Title 1 school where many of the students are living below the poverty line, are English Language Learners, and are FARM (free or reduced price meal) students. In my classroom, I have the most amazing students. I love seeing how excited they are to come to school and learn. My students learn through exploration and play. I need more classroom resources to make sure my students are getting the best experience. Pre-K is the first school experience for my kids so we work hard to create a warm, welcoming environment where students feel comfortable to learn. My Project
Our students are learning how to use technology and we go to the computer lab weekly. This project is for a class set of headphones that my students can use during their computer time, small group iPad times, and the listening center. A class set of headphones will help decrease distractions and allow the students to work on their own.
Headphones at the computer helps keep the noise level at a minimum while keeping learning at a maximum.
By reducing the noise distraction, students will be able to concentrate on their screen and not what the person next to them is doing.
We also need a charger for our classroom iPads that was generously purchased through DonorsChoose. Lastly, we also need a couple headphone splitters when I buddy up a few students to practice sharing.
