This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class has just finished out first novel study with the book Holes by Louis Sachar. I want to gift them the second novel in this series, Small Steps, to have them enjoy reading over winter break. Many of my students do not have access to books during these school breaks.

My students fell in love with the novel Holes throughout our time reading.

They would love to continue the story and see what could happen next.

I have also added a few other novels to grow our love of learning and reading. I have in life’s a class set of headphones so students can use these to listen to books on their computer.
