This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students from Philadelphia have remained passionate about the culinary arts even though classes have remained virtual. They come to class everyday eager to learn about the art of cooking. Philadelphia has put some restrictions on place, but we still have fruitful classes and we wish to be prepared when schools go back to in person learning.

My Project

My students are Culinary Arts students and they are learning real world hospitality skills that include the running of a student run cafe within our school building. It is important to have these items to provide my kids with opportunity to prep foods, store foods and then clean like they were in a real restaurant.

Equipment used for preparation, storage and cleaning check all the boxes needed for my students to go out and secure entry level positions in the hospitality industry.

These are all items needed to complete daily tasks!
