My Students

My students care deeply about their family, friends, and community. They come to school each day with a smile on their face! Many of our kids love their art and music classes more than the rest of their week combined!

The young artists are as caring as they are diverse!

They are a fun-loving bunch of kids who have recently taken on the Leader-In-Me challenge to become more effective at everything that they do. They know that they can achieve anything they set their hearts to, especially if they work together.

My Project

My students need 500 sheets of Pacon black construction paper, ten rolls of masking tape, and three cans of spray adhesive. As students finish their first art projects, I am teaching them how to prepare their artwork for display. This includes mounting it on a black matte, properly labeling with a name tag, choosing the best location to display, and in most cases allowing the students to hang the artwork themselves.

My goal is for EVERY student to have artwork on display by the end of the year!

But I don't have enough black paper and tape to make that happen. I will also need some spray adhesive to help sixth graders with the final step of preparing their self portraits.
