My students LOVE to learn music, are extremely talented and love to take advantage of any opportunity to perform! They all have the opportunities to join the choir, join the band, join the musical and enroll in classroom music. Some do it all and others pick and choose . Either way, guitar will excite, motivate and inspire my students to learn more about themselves!

My Project
Guitars will be a medium in which students connect the arts with their daily lives. Guitars will engage the population that can show resistance to the typical music curriculum. Guitars will allow students to open their minds to the gift of music. Guitars will allows students to physically hold an instrument and feel the music.

Music has been scientifically proven to increase learning in all areas and incorporating guitars will reach a larger number of students to feel successful.
