Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Most of my students come from economically disadvantaged households. Despite their home lives they are the most kind and caring students ever. They are respectful and are willing to do anything for me.
In my classroom they only thing we worry about is learning.
I want them to come in and not have to worry about having the supplies and Items they need to succeed.
I became a teacher so I could help change the world one second grader at a time.
My Project
The items that I have added will allow my students to get the best possible education that I can offer. Having awesome resources allows me to vary my teaching style. Not every student learns the same way and therefore, math manipulative items gives them something tangible to hold and feel; magnetic shapes would help build interest in science and engineering and posters would build a print rich environment. These things are vital to a child's success.
I want my students to know that their education is important!
I want them to trust me as their teacher and all of the items I have requested will go to benefit their growing minds.
