This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me help my students reach their full potential with a full tummy while participating in physical education. Sometimes we have friends who struggle to join because their tummies are hungry. After a quick snack, our minds are intense and focused, ready to learn and participate in new skills. We teach students from Pre-K to 4th grade. Sometimes, we forget to have breakfast and come into PE with an empty rumbling tummy, and that's all we can focus on. Occasionally, we have students who are upset when coming in and struggle to get their minds off what they are upset about. We can offer a snack, and it helps ease their minds, and then they are ready to participate in our activities. Help us help our strong students reach their full potential in their learning abilities in physical education.
