This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students reside in Coachella Valley in CA. Most of our students receive free and reduced breakfast and lunch meals. Our school is in Indio where a lot of our students grow up in poverty and with single parents.

Students love these stress relief fidget balls.

There are a lot going on at home. Students benefit from using these stress relief fidget balls. I use Class Dojo points to incentivize their good behaviors, work ethics, etc... In the past 10 years of my teaching, I have always bought stuff with my own money.

I am very grateful to learn about DonorsChoose and donors out there who are willing to help my students learn and do their best with any tools/supplies possible to help them. Thank you for all your help and generous donations.
