Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students are coming back to in-person schooling for the first time in two years due to Covid, and it is a stressful time for them. Coloring is a therapeutic activity, and these students are from low-income households that do not have access to these activities. My students have told me that they would like to have coloring books and supplies to use during their flex periods, and our school does not have the funds for these items. This activity will be great for social-emotional learning and helping students interact with each other.
