Help me give my students stress balls as relief during state testing. They get so stressed out and need a way to release tension! Also, our students need reliable pencils that will not constantly break.
Our school has about 320 students. We are a Title I district and have a large portion of students that are free and reduced lunch. We are a rural community with limited resources but make the most of what we have. Our students are wonderful and love learning. Most have a growth mindset and positive attitude which makes teaching enjoyable. Our students deserve the best and work hard for what they have. They are sweet, caring kids who enjoy being kind.
My Project
My students need stress balls to help them relieve test anxiety. They also need dependable pencils that won't break all the time and write smoothly. Our students deserve good things and often we don't get them because we are a low income district.
Our students deserve good pencils and stress balls to help feel confident for state testing.
These materials will help them feel at ease. Students need to be able to go into testing not worrying about whether their pencils are going to break and these are good pencils.
Also the students will be so excited to get actually stress balls. We never have money to buy stress balls and always use cut up pool noodles as a substitute but this year our students have worked so hard that I feel they deserve the real thing!
