Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My kids are great kids who come from a very low income urban area. Many of these kids struggle to bring the most basic of school supplies to school each day. I am hoping that this project will help supply my students with the supplies and materials that they will need to be academically successful.

Providing new resources to my students is always appreciated by them and goes a long way towards helping them achieve their goals.

Anything provided will be put right to good use.

My Project

My students need stress balls that can be given out in classes. These balls will help keep students focused and on task in the classroom. By providing students with these materials we can keep their fidgeting to a minimum. When students are able to fidget in their own seats they are less likely to get up and try to move about the room.

Less movement in the classroom means less distractions and more time on learning.

We have dozens of students with different learning disabilities that can truly benefit from materials like these in the classroom and in the school overall.
