This project is specifically intended to be used with students who struggle with stress and anxiety. They freeze up when asked to work on things that are difficult or that they feel they cannot do, or when things are out of control at home. These items would be used by students to help take their minds off their concerns or stresses by keeping a hand busy while they complete their work or while they talk with someone about their concerns. It will allow them to have tactile movement while also relieving their stresses.
These items are a great benefit for students who can do better when their hands are busy with items that don't require a lot of focus to free their minds up to do difficult things.
