This diverse, dedicated group of athletes has come together with the primary goal of developing and strengthening themselves not just as wrestlers but as productive young men and women. My athletes work hard on and off the wrestling mats building their growth mindset, academic successes, and prepare themselves for the world beyond school.
Our team, oftentimes, goes without the proper equipment to help prepare for a successful wrestling season.
My student-athletes work tirelessly, and I would like to help provide them with these materials readily available to them in our wrestling room.
I have the unique opportunity to work with a diverse group of student-athletes as the Head Wrestling Coach. Any seasoned wrestling coach will tell you, one important aspect of training for the wrestling season is a solid strength training program. It is vital that my athletes have access to the materials needed to develop the muscles necessary to safely compete in wrestling matches.
Having access to the necessary equipment gives my student-athletes not only strength but confidence that they have trained and have access to the same materials as schools with more financial support.
Using jump ropes and jump boxes will build our endurance, stamina and ability to move quickly. The dumbbells, exercise rope, and kettle bells will help our young athletes to build the core, arm and leg strength necessary to lift and turn their opponents. The medicine balls are also vital in building core and arm strength. Please consider supporting our team and providing us with the materials needed to strengthen our minds and bodies!
