My Students

I have the pleasure of working with an amazing group of kids. I have students that are from all walks of life. I have parents that work their hardest to give their kids the best life they possibly can. I work at a Title I school, where 85% of students receive free and reduced cost lunches. The students love coming to school, because we create a judgment-free zone, where they get to show what they know and who they are.

My students love to be hands-on learners.

My school is a STEM school, so we get some amazing opportunities. The students grow and learn through hands-on activities. I like to challenge my students with new learning techniques.

My Project

I am looking to increase my student engagement in reading. I am been doing novel book clubs. I am looking for something new and exciting to keep my students engaged in reading.

Magazines help all students, including at-risk learners, succeed through our engaging content, age-appropriate materials, differentiated reading levels, a blended learning model and dynamic digital tools such as videos, assessment quizzes and so much more.

Storyworks will supply all these things. I have gone through the program and it supplies all these things and more. My students and I can't wait to get started! Thank you for all the help.
