Story Time Pop Its & Reading Partner

Help me give my students a friend to read their library books to after checking out books and a fun way to keep track of words/phrases during story time with the Pop It!

My Students

What I love about my students is their kindness and positive attitudes.

They work hard and help each other succeed!

My students are creative, energetic, and love visiting the library to learn about different genres of literature and check out the latest new books!

My Project

I plan to have the Pop Its and Teddy Bears available to my K-2 grade library specials students in multiple ways. One is as an option to help those students who struggle with sitting still for the length of our story time to use to aid their focus. Another fun activity I plan to incorporate to our story time is to give the students a key word or phrase that is repeated throughout the book and each time they hear the word/phrase they "pop it" and at the end we count to see how many times the word/phrase was in the story! Lastly, I plan to have the teddy bears available for students to sit and read their library books to after they check out their books.
