This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our scholars have the drive, motivation, determination and desire to get things done! This is the 'I can do' attitude that has been instilled in these children who have not had many of the opportunities some of the surrounding schools have come to enjoy in present years. We are gearing up to put the creative abilities of 6th - 8th graders to the test in ways our district have never known.

I oftentimes wonder what new adventures await us as our students seem so eager to see the results of the hard work and and efforts they've put towards the many projects that have been assigned to their hands.

My Project

I am requesting storage shelves for robotic hardware components. It would be nice to have a centralized location to store all VEX IQ Robotic hardware so that they are easily visible and these bright minds are not wasting time going through various boxes in order to find the parts that they need. Proficiency and excellence go hand in hand and that is the reason these aspiring engineers would need proper equipment to do their work and build robots that will solve real world problems more effectively.

Currently, all the robotic parts are scattered everywhere, this will give us a cutting-edge when it comes to doing what we do best.
