I have a class full of kindergarten students that are eager to learn new skills! Many of my students did not attend preschool and they are experiencing learning for the first time in a classroom setting.
My students LOVE to learn new skills with hands-on learning activities, great visuals, and an organized classroom.
My students would love the opportunity to have this store & display teaching cart in our classroom so they can use it for multiple learning opportunities. They would use this unit to practice hands-on learning with magnetic letters on the board during centers, view displayed anchor charts, and keep learning materials nicely organized.
My Project
This project will provide our class with a store & display teaching cart that will be used daily.
This unit serves as an easel, chart stand and storage cart- all in one!
The large magnetic write & wipe board will be used for students to practice learning during stations. Students will practice writing letters, numbers, and words with dry erase markers on the board. The magnetic page holders on the board will be used to display big books during read alouds. Students will also use magnetic letters on the board to practice ordering the alphabet and building words.
The handy rings will be used to display anchor charts that we create in class to help students visualize newly taught skills. The rings will also display pocket charts throughout the year.
This steel-frame unit contains 8 big bins that will keep tons of supplies within easy reach. Some of the items that we will store in these bins include: magnetic letters, dry erase markers, regular anchor chart markers, boogie boards (writing tablets), pocket chart sorting cards, and other teaching supplies.
