I have a diverse group of students who run the gamut on culture, academic ability, and socio-economic status, but they all have one thing in common: potential.
My students are talented, funny, hard-working, charismatic, quiet, shy, determined, strong, inspirational people who have agreed this year to always try and to maintain positive attitudes.
My students this year are very interested in extra curricular activities as well and bring their talents into the classroom. They have many skills, and this year, we will put them to work!
My Project
Due to the generous donations of people like you, my students were just awarded a Donors Choose grant for some everyday items that make learning more accessible and less stressful. One of those things was auxiliary cords for their headphones. Now that we have these wonderful materials, we want to be sure we treat them well and keep them working for a long time.
My students would use these materials in order to practice good organizational skills as well as the skills it takes to be responsible for keeping their materials in good working condition.
This project would include a few different pieces that would ensure safe storage of our classroom headphones. This way, there is much less chance of our materials getting broken or mistreated during use. Headphones are sometimes a daily part of class for us, so their upkeep is very important to the forward progress of my students' learning.
