Storage Solutions for Our Classroom

My students need the storage carts so that we have suitable storage options for our center activities. The pocket chart stand would free up the whiteboard it is currently covering so that we can utilize that.

My Students

I have been blessed with 18 amazing students! I have several that receive some sort of reading or math intervention and three that receive speech services but each one of them always puts forth their best effort. My kids continually find a way to make my day better. They are so full of life and always have a positive attitude! They strive to improve daily in all subjects, as well as help their peers to improve. I am so proud of them and their accomplishments this year!

My Project

Currently, we do math and reading center rotations twice a day. The students thrive in this setting because they are often given choice over the types of learning. Because of the multiple choices they have, there are numerous materials that each activity requires. Unfortunately, my storage options for these activities are limited. I do not have any storage that is easily accessible by the students. I strive to promote independence in my classroom. Having access to the materials would ensure that they can prepare centers themselves, easily find needed items, and develop organization skills. Those skills can then be transferred into real-life situations.
