My Students

My classroom is filled with a wide range of grade levels, Kindergarten through fifth grade, and kiddos who enjoy being active and challenged. My students live in a variety of homes - apartments, rentals, mobile homes, and single-family homes.

As a physical educator, I make sure my classroom is inviting to students of all ability levels and all interests.

We are a Title I school with a large percentage of free/reduced-price lunch and breakfast. My students are hard working and want to learn. This makes them fun to teach.

My Project

Last year, I went to a conference and received a class set of lacrosse sticks. My students really enjoy this activity as it is new to most of them. Unfortunately, I don't have a way to store them.

My students are used to our classroom being organized and structured and I like to have our equipment that way too.

This cart will allow the distribution and collection of the lacrosse sticks to be done in an organized manor. It will also make it easier to take the equipment outside. When the equipment is not being used, I will be able to store it all easily and in an organized way. This will keep the equipment in good shape.
