My Students

I am working with a diverse group of 31 students all from different background in terms socioeconomic status at a public school in Brooklyn. They are resilient, opinionated eager to learn. Now that we are in this unprecedented time, It will be necessary to use a variety of platforms to deliver instruction as well as maintain safety while practicing social distance in the classroom.

My Project

As of September, I will be teaching in person for four days per week. I need to ensure that all students in school have an outlet to maintain their school supplies. Such as books, workbooks, independent readers and pencil cases. In order to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for them, I will need each student to have a seat sack and an individual work bin. The seat sacks will easily store the smaller items so that other students will maintain their 6 feet apart and the bins will help with organization.
