My students are a sweet group of kindergartners. They come from all different backgrounds. Some have attended preschool and some have not. They love coming to school and are eager to learn. We have several students with special needs including autism, ADHD, and sensory processing.
We are a family in my classroom who build relationships through shared and new experiences.
My students are loving, friendly, motivated, and strive to succeed. They are each unique and have a way of winning my heart with their kindness and bubbling personalities.
My students need individual storage bins to keep their pencils, crayons, play-doh, notebooks, and other center materials in. Due to the pandemic we cannot share items anymore. These boxes will ensure each child's materials stay safe. I will be able to sanitize the boxes each afternoon so they are clean and ready for the next day. By keeping their materials individualized we will be able to help slow down the transmission of any virus or illness.
My students are used to being able to go to centers and this year it does not seem like that will be possible.
I am going to keep the center materials in each students box so they will still have a sense of normalcy during this time.
