My Students

I am blessed to teach a group of amazing first graders who have such incredible potential. Unfortunately, due to Hurricane Michael, much of that potential has been haulted. Many students have lost their homes, their belongings as well as the many items in their classrooms, a place where they feel safe. Our school had a significant amount of damage, more than anyone originally thought. Due to the damage, many teachers lost classroom materials and items needed to use for daily instruction.

Our students are eager to learn and work very hard in the classroom every day.

We are in need of your help to give our students the education and instruction they are accustomed to receiving every day.

My Project

We are excited for the opportunity to have amazing technology for our students to use in the classroom. We love to incorporate technology into the learning process. Students are more motivated and eager to engage when they can use hands on learning and different learning tools such as iPads. iPads are a great resource for both independent learning and interactive learning. Hurricane Michael has stalled some of these learning and teaching techniques but we are ready to incorporate them again!

The storage unit will allow us to charge and take care of these wonderful materials.

This will be a great asset to our space!
