Help me give my students a Colors Semicircle Rug, Spot Shot Pet Instant Carpet Stain and Odor Eliminator, and Woolite INSTAclean Permanent Pet Stain Remover.
I am in my second year of teaching STEM full-time and we have had some amazing experiences! My position reaches from pre-k to 5th grade.
These children are from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds and cultures.
We have students who are classified as homeless, ELL, children in foster placement, and children in military families with a parent away serving our country. We are a Title I school with over 80% of the students eligible for the free or reduced-price lunch program. Our school is part of a backpack program through the regional food bank that sends food home on the weekends.
I love greeting my students in the mornings and seeing the sweet smiles as they start their school day. Many will remind me that it is their day to get to come to my class. I want to make sure that all are given positive experiences and opportunities in my classroom that will help them realize their potential and prepare them for the future they deserve.
My Project
Many times the students in my STEM room will move to an area on the floor to work on our current rug that is patterned. This makes it difficult for children to see small pieces they have dropped around them.
The Colors Semicircle Rug will be a comfortable spot for groups of children to work together as they problem-solve and design their STEM creations.
This rug has a single color in the middle which will help with clean up time. It will also allow the littlest ones to learn their colors with the rainbow of bright squares around the outside rim of this carpet. Our current rug has had many instances of wet spots and stains that have had to be cleaned. The Spot Shot Pet Instant Carpet Stain & Odor Eliminator and Woolite INSTAclean Permanent Pet Stain Remover will help me quickly clean up after these issues. This will make sure the rug is sanitized and smelling fresh for other students.
