Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I work with the newest learners around Preschoolers! They rang from ages 3-5 and love being at school. They are kind, open minded, and the best helpers around. My littles are the highlight of my day! They enjoy singing, dancing, and jumping all around. They are currently working hard as the prepare for the next stage of their lives Kindergarten! They are so excited and regularly remind each other that "Kindergartners do not do that". As we work through the second half of the school year we can use your help.

My Project

Flexible seating helps these small minds take op charge of their education by having options to move around. These seats allow our restless kiddos time to get the wiggles out and come back to re-set and engage in-class time. Many new learners are used to moving and are unable to sit for long periods of time. With your help, I can give students the option to wiggle out the wiggles in class so they won’t miss a minute of instruction time. As we start the second half of the school year we could really use your help as I work to prepare my littles for their next big step into Kindergarten!
