Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This amazing group of kids is a melting pot of personality and diversity. There are students who will melt your heart when watching them work and communicate with students who have autism and support other students that struggle with academics. The students here are kind and compassionate. There are students in fifth grade who have a love to read and are learning to learn on their own. And other students that are very creative and funny. These students are amazing, respectful, and I could not be more proud to be their teacher!

My Project

Our school was remodeled over the summer of 2019. They took up ALL of our carpet and put a clear layer over the cement. Not only is our classroom very HARD, but it is also very LOUD when anyone gets up or moves their chairs at all in the classroom.

These chair leg socks, chair leg caps, and fuzzy feet chair glides will help my students continue to learn while there is movement in my classroom.

The students have complained about the noise all year and we are looking forward to getting a quieter room without the noise of chairs moving!
