This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I have an inquisitive group of middle school students who are always eager to learn. They attend a Title I school where they all qualify for free breakfast and lunch. Nearly all of them come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. For many of my students, school is the only place where they have access to the use of technology. Despite the obstacles, my students come to school every day to a place where they are being molded into great students and learners.
My Project
Middle school students are always spilling things, dripping liquids, coughing and sneezing. It can get pretty gross in our classroom! We need Chlorox wipes, tissue, hand sanitizer, soap, Lysol spray and paper towels to stop the spread of germs.
We experience a lot of summer colds, allergies and colds in general.
I want to keep my students healthy so that they can be in school all the time. These supplies are not items that are provided to us by our limited school budget, so your donations are key to allowing us to have the items we need to stay clean!
