This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love hands-on projects, having the opportunity to create their own visualizations to show their understanding, and being challenged to think outside the box. They come to school eager to learn, and they deserve the best and most creative ways to expand their learning.

My students come in wanting to incorporate more creative technology in their learning, as they have little to no technology at home to make this happen.

Peer collaboration is a large part of learning in our classroom community, and any technology that is able to be incorporated into that collaboration keeps them engaged and having fun!

My Project

My students interest with learning, changes as quickly as they change their socks! It can be tough to keep up with them - which is why we need to keep up to date with technology for the classroom and utilize this technology in many fun and engaging ways. The HUE HD Document Camera can be used by me to demonstrate new skills being taught through animation, annotation, play and freeze videos, as well as, allow students to creatively demonstrate their mastery of learning using animations, stop-animation videos or simple annotations. This allows my students to embrace true 21st century learning with technology in the classroom.
