This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For this proposal, I am requesting some stools for the art room. With our overcrowded classrooms, these stools will take up less space then our oversized chairs. Additionally, students are asked to put chairs up at the end of the day, in order to allow for an easier clean up by our custodian, and these stools will be more easy for my students. They are less bulky, lighter, and encourage better posture while students are creating art. The stools are also different then what they sit in their academic classes, adding to the idea that the art room is a different space, a place to be creative and more physical. The stools will allow kiddos to move around the room better, too.
