My Students

My third grade students are an energetic bunch learning to be the best learners they can be. They love to explore the world around them through books, technology, and working together. My classroom is a safe place for my students where they can express themselves and are encouraged to work to their full potential. I want my classroom to not only be functional, but accommodating as well! Every student of mine learns in a different way and has a specific need. My goal is to help each student learn in the way that best fits their need.

My Project

I am introducing flexible seating for my third grade students. I am planning on providing a variety of flexible seating options for my students, and comfortable stools are my first choice. Not only do they help students posture, but they help students focus as well. My students will be using stools throughout the day to help them achieve daily goals. In all honesty, children cannot sit for an extended length of time in a standard chair for hours at a time. This is what this project is all about. Comfort = comfortable learning. Not only do these stools allow for movement, but they allow for maximum learning.
