Our rural school is a K-12 school located in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley. Our elementary school is K-3, serving about 300 students. My class has diverse learners, including students who have IEPs, 504s, handicap needs, gifted students, and everywhere in between. I want to provide every one of my third-grade students with a learning environment that meets their educational needs and emotional, social, and physical needs. My students work hard and are excited and eager to learn.

My students are eager for new experiences and chances to explore the world around them. Whether it be through using tablets, performing science experiments, reading about faraway places, or using special seating to make learning more comfortable, I want to provide them with these opportunities in any way I can. My DonorsChoose projects will help make this year and future years as successful as they can be.
My Project
I would like to purchase a set of 4 stools for working with students in small groups at our classroom table. I currently have metal stools which half are broken. Stools make it quick and easy for students to join me at the table without having to rearrange other seating, which can cause us to lose precious learning time.
Having stools for special seating will help students have a space to learn in small groups and give us an extra option for seating while working with the teacher.
