Help me give my students glue sticks, highlighters, binder tabs, disinfecting wipes, and colored pencils to resupply our empty closets. We need to make it to the end of the year and supplies are beginning to become scarce.
Our school is a small, rural, alternative school in central Idaho. The economy has been struggling for years. This has made funding things difficult. In hard times we need to get creative to make it happen for our students.
Our school serves the neediest students in the district.
We have students that struggle getting concepts in the general education classes and need special resources to supplement their learning. Please help us make a difference for these students by giving them what they need.
My Project
Our students are motivated by hands-on learning activities. We use a great deal of glue sticks, highlighters and colored pencils for their interactive classwork assignments. The entire school uses binders for organization of class work and we need more. We also use a great deal of disinfectant wipes to keep kids healthy and in school.
We are beginning to run out of the essential supplies that we need to finish up the year.
Getting these things will help us finish strong in the last months of school.
Most of the students in our school do not have the funds to buy extra supplies for school. We as a school want to make sure that all students have what they need to be successful. Teachers in the school are trying to offer multiple ways for students to express their ideas and having the materials, glue and colored pencils add variety to those tasks.
