Help me give my students cardstock, laminating pouches, colored paper, and other supplies to use throughout the year. The cardstock, colored paper, and laminating pouches will be used for awards they earn for their hard work!
A child's first-grade year is so exciting! They know how the whole school thing works, and they come in ready to learn how to read and become mathematicians. In our class of 20 students, we have a wonderful mix of backgrounds that add to the sparkle in our room.
Witnessing their understanding grow about how letters and numbers work is magical!
Students are on different levels of understanding, but they are growing and that's what matters. Giving them the tools and resources to help them be all they can be and reach their potential is an important goal of mine!
My Project
Every classroom needs supplies to operate successfully. Our classroom is no exception. Each year, my students earn awards, create books, and engineer popsicle stick notepad holders. Without receiving the supplies we need, these projects will go unattempted. We need laminating sheets in order to protect awards and centers from being damaged due to lots of handling and use. They work daily in centers that I print on cardstock and laminate for durability. The binder combs will be essential for the books my students write. The popsicle sticks will be the main media used to engineer a note pad holder for STEM. They use Expo markers every morning when they work in their Rise and Shine Binders.
The supplies that we have been gifted are running out, and we need a hero who wants to help us stock our classroom.
Binder rings are for keeping sight words, addition, and subtraction cards together; binding combs are for binding student-written books; 3M hooks are for holding library cards; the binders will organize their work; and pencils may not seem very important, but they are essential!
