Ever feel short-handed? At one of the biggest elementary schools in the state, supplies for both students and teachers are limited. But with your help, we can make my students' classroom an organized and uplifting place of learning.
Smart.
Compassionate. Concerned. I've been surprised at how much my students care about each other. They work together, they learn together, and they care for each other. These are the kind of students that are worth every investment we can give them.
My Project
Paper is the single-most important resource for a classroom. And at a big school, teachers never get enough of it. The paper requested in this project will double the amount my school has allotted to my students for the rest of the year.
However, with a steady stream of worksheets, handouts, and other papers flowing through the classroom each day, these file folders will keep our classroom organized and prevent it from being flooded with each day's work.
But copy paper isn't the only type of paper a classroom needs. These giant post-it notes have proved to be one of the most resourceful items I've come across. We use them to post classroom rules, take-a-ways from lessons, and things we need to memorize. Write and post--it's that easy to give my students the visual reminders they need to master their coursework.
"Education is a debt due from the present to future generations." -George Peabody
When we invest in education, we are investing in the future.
This project will give our classroom the supplies and organization it needs to keep us on the track to success!
