I work at a low income school district. My students are very active learners with a variety of learning styles. My students are excited to incorporate STEM into the classroom.
My students are continuously learning both in and out of the classroom.
They love to discover things on their own. My students are eager and ready to learn each day and try their best regardless of the challenges they may face at home. They are a lovable diverse bunch who love learning new material and getting the opportunity to explore their own learning.
My Project
Having various STEM materials in the classroom will allow my students to learn though discovery. It will allow students to problem solve as well as working together in collaboration. The Design and Build Engineering Centers will allow my students to look at real life designs and create their own using the same important elements. The Playstix and Geostix will allow my students to use their imaginations to create their own constructions.
For my students collaboration is where I see my students excel.
They love getting the opportunity to work together and create something through discovery. I believe working together to solve problems is critical in their learning and I find it important to include opportunities to incorporate it into their daily routines.
I am requesting STEM materials to engage my students in learning. STEM learning really promotes students in a student-centered learning environment. Using the materials in my project, my students will be able to complete various STEM projects to allow them to enhance their learning through discovery.
