I teach third grade students who are mostly from low-income families. The support and love they get from school really make a difference in their lives. We try to teach them to be good citizens who grow into hard working adults who will contribute to society.
They come to school excited to learn, and we want to foster that love for learning to help them grow.
I want to give them opportunities they might not ever receive if we did not have support from the outside world. Thank you!
My Project
My kids are having a hard time at home. They are craving things to do and some of them are needing items like food and snacks.
I would like to provide every student with a gallon ziplock bag, filled with needed school supplies for Home based Learning.
We need pencils, pencil sharpeners, and lots of snacks. I have asked for non-perishable items that we can put in the ziplock bag and send home for the kids to use. We will use gloves to pack the items and will place them on a table out from of the school. Parents can drive up and grab whatever they need. We will also provide several of these packets to neighborhood kids, by leaving them on their doorstep. Please help us to help our students during this National Crisis.
