Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My third-grade students are curious boys and girls who attend a school that is unique in that it serves kindergarten through eighth-grade students. This age span at our school makes the transition from 5th grade to middle school so much easier for the students and allows them to keep lasting relationships with classmates and support staff.
My students come to learn and progress in all they do in class.
They practice the 7 Habits of Happy Kids on a daily basis by setting goals, being in charge of themselves, synergizing to get things done, and having time set aside to relax in preparation for the days ahead.
My Project
My students are expected to collaborate and synergize with classmates on a weekly and sometimes daily basis.
Having a table top easel pad and large sticky notes will make it all the easier for my students to display their work in our classroom.
I think of when I attend professional developments classes and how convenient these pads are when presenting to and with my colleagues. I want that same ease for my students. Having learning displayed that they created as well as some of my educational posters I create will be easy access to content we've covered. Sticky pads will come to our rescue!
