Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are enthusiastic but often lack the motivation to work on their classwork. They also need support with English speaking and listening. Most are English learners and are struggling in their English Language Arts class.
My students come from a diverse school in a large city.
Part of the school is a magnet with students from all over the city. My students, however, are comprised mainly of residential students from the local low-income neighborhood. Most are English learners, as well.
My Project
We make a lot of hands on projects in class. There is no greater pride from a student than finishing a well planned out and laboriously made project; especially when they decorate the final touches.
These supplies are for the student projects to have the color and decorations to make them interesting and memorable.
Each supply is to replace ones already being used up on the current projects. The students enjoy choosing how to organize and decorate their class projects. Please help restock the much used supplies used in class.
These young artists and presenters should have materials to excel.
