My students are very energetic and they love hands-on learning. They enjoy working with their friends and doing anything that seems like play. Many of the students like to work hard for incentives and rewards.
Some of the children in my class struggle to focus on the task at hand and require creative strategies in order to make the learning process easier.
It is my goal to find strategies for these students that work. However difficult learning can be, all of my students are excited about learning and truly believe they can succeed!
My Project
I want to put dry erase, removable stickers on my students' tables so that they don't have to go back and forth to get paddles or pencils/paper to show their work. They can write on the tables without making a mess or destroying school property.
Writing on the tables is convenient and fun!
I want to save time in my classroom by having scratch paper right under my students hands. I can ask them a question and will be able to immediately write the answer. I will be able to walk around and see all of my students' work on the table tops.
Some students need more non-conventional ways to show their work. They need to be able to use different medias to display answers. Writing on the tables could be just what they need!
