My students need the ZOOB STEM Challenge, Space Lander STEM Learning Lab, and Real-World STEM Kit to integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math in class.

The requested STEM kits will allow the students to question, experiment, and work toward new solutions to a problem. It will feed their curiosity to learn new things.
My fifth grade students love to explore.
They love science and love to work, whether it is in groups to solve problems or independently to show what they are learning. My students are typical fifth grade students. They are excited about learning and love the opportunity to explore the world around them. My school is a science magnet school with a moderate poverty rating. My students come to school every day ready to learn and to discover something new.
My Project
The STEM kits will provide my students with enriched learning opportunities throughout they year, impacting them through greater academic successes in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This project will allow my students to have hands-on activities. A STEM classroom focuses on those disciplines because each are essential to student success, because these fields are intertwined in the real world. Integration of the subjects in the classroom will help to prepare my students to collaborate and mimic the real world.
My students need the ZOOB STEM Challenge, Space Lander STEM Learning Lab, and Real-World STEM Kit to integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math in class. The STEM kits that I am requesting include exciting challenges that build off one another. The students plan, build, test and then improve their design while I can use the detailed lesson plans to explain key concepts and help students troubleshoot design flaws. Each project-based lab includes activities that students complete in order, building on the skills they learned in previous activities.
Working together to solve problems and create solutions is a positive change that results from working with STEM kits.
This will carry over to other areas in my student’s life. My students need a STEM Learning Lab to enhance their learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
