My Students

My students walk into our classroom ready and excited to learn.

I teach in an area of high poverty with 100% of students receiving free breakfast and lunch.

Many of my students receive backpack food to help their families over school vacations and our school also runs a food pantry throughout the year for our families. I have a large group of kindergarteners who are ready to blossom as readers and mathematicians. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best work.

My Project

My kindergarten students are very enthusiastic to learn and participate in class but because of their small size, reaching the whiteboard to write words, answer math problems or contribute to class activities on the board can be very difficult.

With the help of a quality step stool with rails, my students won't have to worry about not being able to reach the board.

The step stool has rails, so I don't have to worry about accidental slipping!

Writing on the board is exciting for young students and having this opportunity will increase their enthusiasm to participate even more! Also, being able to choose a colored marker will be an extra layer of excitement for them!
