My Students
Our student population includes many high-needs learners and over ninety percent of our student population qualifies for free or reduced-price lunch due to the families' low socioeconomic status.
My students LOVE gathering on the carpet for our daily Mini Lessons!
We are based in a small city in South Jersey. My public school has a diverse community of learners. My student population includes many high needs learners. My class is made up of ESL and general education students. Being able to work with my students in the small group setting allows me to meet my learners where they are with the help of manipulatives, foldables, and other educational items.
My Project
This multi function easel with wheels will make a difference in my small group lesson by allowing me to display charts, big books, and other instructional materials. The wheels will make it easy to move around the class during instruction time too. This easel has a blank magnetic board and a lined magnetic board. The blank side is for drawing, demonstrating concepts, building words for phonics instruction. The side with lines has permanent lines , so I can model how to write a story. It has a sturdy shelf that can store all of my supplies needed for each lesson.
