This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My kindergarten class is full of inquisitive, eager, and energetic learners who come to class every day ready to learn and do something new. Our school is a Title I school, and all students receive free lunch.
The ambition and drive that my kindergarten scholars possess is absolutely amazing for any teacher who interacts with them!
The impulse to ask vital questions, to critically investigate, to anxiously explore, to meticulously examine, and to carefully experiment come from a burning curiosity about the world in which we live in and a strong desire to understand things we experience daily by any means necessary!
My Project
The benefits in elementary of STEM education, including the abilities to answer complex questions, investigate global issues, solve real world problems, and meet real world challenges while engaging in meaningful, purposeful, and relevant hands-on inquiry-based, problem-based and/or project-based learning experiences. STEM is an all-in-one educational powerhouse package, and every elementary school student deserves to be exposed to it.
My students need a Magnet STEM Station to investigate and learn how magnets work, Turn Learn Magnetic Gears Station to understand how wheels turn, a Building Brick STEM Challenge Station to practice using manipulatives to build various things and Science STEM Stations to create, explore and investigate how things are built, created and operated.
We are on a Mission to "STEP into STEM" one project at a time!
